FUNDS

Since 1995 more than 60 mill DKK (~11 mill US$) has been attracted to the research group. In September 2006 we were informed that we have received a ‘Højteknologifond’ grant together with 6 other project teams.

During the last years we have undertaken several collaborative projects with Danish Industry. Several highly significant accomplishments have resulted from these projects. We have blended our know-how with advanced research techniques and designed novel routes to enriched polyunsaturated fatty acids. Using state-of-the-art protein engineering technology we have dramatically improved the thermal stability of industrial enzymes. Our extensive understanding of stability of proteins has attracted several industrial projects, in part because shelf like is linked with protein stability.
