Our group's technology makes to the Front page of the prestigeous journal

Our work on biosensors has been selected to be on the cover page of Protein Science in the issue of february 2006. The figure of the magazine cover shows how 6 enzyme spots each measuring 100-150 microns retain their enzymatic activity after an endogenous S-S bond have been used to establish a covalent bond to a quartz surface. We have used a brief exposure to femto-second UV laser pulses to open the endogenous SS bond.
